afforested - 2009 - wolf's heads and woodlanders

just a nice thought... to a great work. the band made it available as a free download and would like very much to have your opinion about it... just use the link provided, if you wish..

" Afforested are a progressive folk rock band from the English county of Kent. Inspired by ancient woodlands and stories of heroes past, their songs weave tales of medieval outlaws, forest creatures and life in the greenwood. After many years of playing and composing in different genres, in the summer of 2007 brothers Alex and Jonathan Betts decided to form Afforested. Now in 2009 they bring you their debut release in the form of the free to download E.P entitled 'Wolf's Heads And Woodlanders'. The E.P was self produced and recorded at Hyrstgeard studios. Afforested are currently about to embark on the first writing sessions for a full length album which they plan to record in 2010. "

fiction - loose translation (from portland, oregon)

hi...
in fact, this album was not requested, so, because I feel that it will never be requested, I decided to post it.
I have no information about this band, except maybe that they are from portland, oregon.
This post is a kind of a tribute to them (the band).
I found a message from one of the band's members, in a blog I normally visit, museo rosenbach.
In this message he is kindly offering a link for this album of his own band.
(...I think that it should have been posted back then, in museo rosenbach, but for some reason it was not).
I eard it and I can only tell you that this is pure quality...an excellent refined sound to match the best...
please don't miss it.
and thank you very much to the band's member who provided the link...
your band is excellent my friend.

revive it from the ashes...
